I have seen plenty of great toots how to make palm trees or where to buy.  Just go to 'Search our Community' on your right.  Type in 'palm tree(s)'. You will find more than 3900 results.  Recently couple of guys did a toot showing us to make palm trees that looked SO REAL and it was surprisingly easy.  Good luck!

As I posted to the same question in the aircraft forum, Verlinden, Custom Dioramics, and Pegasus make 1/35 palm trees.  They can also be scratchbuilt with floral wire/tape for the trunk and cut paper for the leaves relatively cheaply.

for palm trees for some diorama ideas.I have gone to the "Dark side " and have been building some armor pieces after being a long time aircraft builder.  I have some figures for a sand bagged area and a magazine cover that gave me a great diorama idea. I just need some palm trees to make it work. And a couple of fallen ones, too.
