Help!!
Posted by rudedog72 on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 3:44 PM

I have been surfing for the better part of a week trying to track down a US distributor for Brengun Photo Etched parts.  I am gathering up bits for a rather large dio and they have some stuff that would go great with it but I can't seem to find anywhere this side of the pond that sells their  1/72 scale items.  If anyone knows where I can order them from I would greatly appreciate the help.  The items I am looking for are the 1/72 scale Buckets, Bicycle, Tools, and Maintenance Ladders.

Ok, so after a few days I am assuming that nobody has a good link.  I have been hesitant to order from distributors in europe and the UK just because I dont have much expeireince with internatioinal orders.  If someone could recommend some good retailers over there that ship to the states I would appreciate it.  Thanks all.

Hannants in the UK is reliable.  I've ordered from them a few times with no issues.

I took a peek at their website, seems they are too new to the international market and don't yet have but are seeking distributors. Their catalog is also limited so I would suspect that those distributors who are seeing interest in them are probably waiting until their line expands so they can offer a better mix of products. It is hard to widgets in a market where the majority wants gidgets instead.

Keep an eye on UMM-USA they might be one of the first to carry the line here in the US/Canada.

I'd recommend Mini World, they have several types of machine guns in 1:72 scale made of PE parts. You may take a look here:

hobbyterra.com is my favorite site, over the years I've ordered nearly 50 times with no problems. Apart from Mini World there are many other companies selling 1:72 kits, just take a look around. Good luck.

I just noticed this thread and i hadn't heard of this company. I have just checked their site and wow, they have some stuff i have been trying to find for ages, including German maintanence ladders. I was thinking i might have to try scratching some.  I checked the Hannants site and they don't carry them, yet. I might send them an e-mail with my next order.

It doesn't seem you can buy direct off the site, so no idea how to get hold of anything at the moment.

EDIT: yes you can buy direct. I won't eb able to get anything until August.  If no one buys from them in the meantime, i will let you know how it goes.

I have managed to stumble across a UK distributor for the items made by Brengun for any anyone who builds 1/72nd aircraft dio's.

http://www.lonewulfmodels.co.uk/index.php

I have just ordered a couple of the ladder sets so hopefully they will have arrived by the time i get back to the UK, but he carries alot of the brengun items and says they are very popular. He doesn't get them direct from Brengun so that why he isn't down as a disributor. This may also happen in the US so it might be worth do a search for this items.
