Very cool mini ex. thats what we called them in the rental world. The only thing I saw was on your Dio. the blade was up a little when digging you should have the dozer blade down on the ground, otherwise when you curl the bucket the machine will have tendancy to tip forward. Just my 2 cents.. As I have operated A few brands of these.

Terrific build Carl. I like the work on the tracks and the weathering of the running gear as opposed to the less work upper structure. What's next on the bench?

I'm not sure if this belongs here or over in autos or somewhere else. Dio is probably the closest.

This Dickietoys 1/25th scale plastic toy followed me home from a Winners department store not long ago

After dismanteling it and replacing all of the joints new pins, replacing some of the rams and adding new tracks and wheels and an operator, I repainted and weathered the machine to look like this

The base is a gravel bank that I made up to display construction models on. I'm afraid that there isn't much of a story line to this dio. it is just a fun build

Thanks

Carl
