Thanks for the kind comments.  The TD was of course set on fire but fire is notoriously difficult to model!!  Take the point about the amount of damage and may wield the knife once more.  I was thinking a background of winter conifers but sourcing a suitable picture is difficult.

This brings up a great idea for a Group Build: How ______ earned his Medal of Honor.

Keep up the great work!

One suggestion though: Make the battle damage more apparent, the TD was knocked out, wasn't it? Personally, I did not even notice the hole in the side the first time I looked at it. There are some awesome Armor guys (who know more than I do about battle damage) who would be more than willing to give you some tips.

Again, it looks awesome and I cannot wait to see it finished!

Have almost finished the dio showing  ( I hope!) Audi Murphy winning his Medal of Honor at Holtzwihr.  Here are a few pics.  I have tried to stay close to the accounts given, that is, the TD being slewed off the road and knocked out.
