Need some closer pics...water looks good---how'd ya do it?  Planes look a little contrived the way they are placed...

I used this stuff called " Slow-Dri Gel Retarded  from Liquitex.

Sad to say the pics I took was from right after I did the water and now the next day it all went flat Crying so you don't even see the little waves.

O well...... Live and Learn.

Nice dio!. Pictures are a bit too small. I'd prefer 900-1000 pixels wide. Next time try clear resin with your water. It's the best material to simulate water and waves. And the waves don't disappear the next day.

It looks great!  Maybe you can apply few thin coats of Future... it will make water shiny and glossy again?  Easy fix there I hope!

Nice job over all. The planes look a little too "organized".

Is it 1/700?

Good first water dio attempt Bud,

1/700 scale is very challenging to the eyes especially when photoetched raillings are added. Would look great with larger pictures or close up.

Cheers,

Richard
