Red color, man! What else can look this red?

Are those Schmidtt quintuplets for real, subfixer? I'll pass on to AI whether real or not, I like it!

Are we to conclude every German rest area had a purposeless ladder leaning on a fence where everyone had to walk around it?

It came with the kit.  Everybody knows you have to use everything in the box. Smile

Yes, they were real but they served in the Luftwaffe and had blonde hair if I remember correctly, like a lot of Germans. Red hair is more common in Ireland, but the Irish stayed out of WWII except for the Blarney Regiment of the US 4th Division. They were a backwater unit that ran the enlisted men's clubs. A family of triplets did serve in that unit, the Malarkeys. They had red hair, or at least two of them did, the third was prematurely bald. They all survived the war except for some broken bones that they suffered in bar fights.

Europeans generally have different hair colors, unlike the uniformly colored hair that these German soldiers in this diorama have. This would be very unlikely to occur. The Italian Army, yes, the Germans, British or US, no.

A common fault with Art Instructor's work unfortunately.  He doesnt like to crack open another colour when he is doing a group scene, consequently everyone ends up with near the same hair colour.  Detracts from what is otherwise good work.

Easymike, defcon1 had already given the answer, and I think that's it!

defcon1, thanks for your answer! You're correct. If AI didn't use it I might have asked him "Where's the ladder?" or "Where's my ladder?" ;-)

subfixer, thanks for your information! I've relayed some to AI, esp. about most Germans don't have red hair.

Wirraway, I've passed on your comments to AI esp. about the distraction.
