Once a modeler always a modeler mate!

He doesn't have to reply of course...I was actually hoping that someone else would be helpful.

Your right though,

I tried your tecnique with wires but it didn't really look good at the end. Can you be a bit more specific and explain step by step?

You would REALLY be helping me out and after adding putty...how do you exactly texture it?

Cheers Pal

This is an almost 5 year

You really should look at the date on a post when asking a question and according to his profile, MadModelFactory hasn't visited here since 03-16-2004.

Visit your local Model Railroad store and see what they got in stock.

I like to build my trees from wire bundles/wire rope, they are sold over here in different length and thicknesses.

What you do is pull Wires(Twigs) or small bundles of wires(Branches) off and position them, of the sub-bundles you can pull smaller bundles or single wires to make smaller branches and twigs.
Very easy to position, putty to add volume/texture if desired, prime, paint and add flock.

I have even made a 1/8 cascading Bonsai using this method for a Diorama, it really allows you to get creative and position everything nicely.

Hope this helps.
