A couple of pics of a recent diorama. 35th scale Dragon Pz IV F (very nice kit). Added Fruil metal tracks and a host of figures (Dragon, Italeri, Tamiya, Hornet Heads, etc.). This is more figures than I usually include in any of my scenes. It was a fun build,, hope you enjoy.
Enjoy the ride!
This is way cool. What is cracking me up is that it reminds me very much of a dio I did a few years back, all the way down to the Hornet Figure relieving himself.
Yours looks much better than min did, tho

On the workbench: ginormous Kharkov dio
Thanks Steve
Honestly I don't recall what manufacturer is responsible for the "relieving" soldier. It is a metal figure and had been in my figure storage bin for years.... thought this dio would be a good place for him. And the area he's placed really fit the circumstance.
Yeah, pretty sure he's Hornet... at the risk of hijacking your thread, here's my dude:
Your figures, and the Pz IV, turned out better looking than mine. I did the Pz III H
For sure the same pose and look,,,, is your figure metal?........ the one I used came with the head shown... I didn't switch out.
Sure does look like the same dude,,, little pissers,, ha!
And, your scene / figure looks good too,,,,,,,, very nice
Outstanding diomara! I like the tracks especially its sagging... I assume they are AM tracks? Also, I liked the tree... was it scratch built? Thanks for sharing!
Andy
Hi Andy,
Thanks... yes the tracks are Fruil. For trees I typically rip weeds out of the ground and examine the roots. I will bash the dirt off and let them dry out. Then paint, add a little wash and dry brush, add leaves if needed and viola!,,, pretty realistic trees at very little cost.
