1:48 Carrier Deck Questions
Posted by NJJK on Saturday, November 20, 2010 10:00 PM

I'm getting ready to build a modern US carrier deck and was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions of the lines and the spacing for the padeyes (tie down points). I haven't been on a flight deck in over. Ten years and my memory is a little vague. I was going to us 220 grit sandpaper for the non-skid. Any other options? Thanks for any info in advance.

I wish I can help but I am not into ships.  If you can post this in the 'Ships' forum you may get responses.  Hope you get an answer... good luck! Yes

As mentioned the ship forum would probably be able to help you out.

Barring that than using measurements off you model to scale off photos will give you a good ballpark figure.

Navy. mil has lot's of good reference pictures.
