depends...will this be an urban battle scene or desert? will they be in a lax position or action position?

I allways wanted to do a patrol column with some Strykers and soldiers patroling a street or something along those lines.  A good spot to check out is google.  Just type in something Operation Iraqi Freedom and check out some of the pics that allways gives me some ideas.

You may want to consider some Trumpeter or Dragon sets for your grunts. The Tamiya Modern Infantry are only good for up to the mid 90s or so of you replace weapons and pro-mask carriers. For OIF/OEF you need guys in IBA armor and MOLLE gear. Plus the later M-16s/M-4s.

Go to www.strategypage.com .  It has an extensive photo section that may give you some ideas and reference points.
