I see that WIldehare models has a 1/35th shopping cart, which has to be worth considering for a modern dio in that scale. Details like this are a great way to show that military action takes place in civilian cities. (I've just bought the 1/24 scale version which is a super little kit)

I just bought some of these amazingly detailled 1/24 scale manhole covers, and I see on the site that there are sets of tools, hamburgers (with cheese!!!), cogs, gaskets etc, which are perfect for detailling dioramas. Well worth checking out.
