making waves and putting the boat into water?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, January 22, 2004 7:24 AM
Q1:How do i make waves in water, do i do it with a hairdryer whilst it is drying?? i dont want massive waves, its a Tamiya Pibber going down a river at slowish speeds so nothing to major

Q2: And how do i go about putting the boat into the water??? do i put it in whilst its drying or do i make a mould of the hull put that in then take it out when the water is dry so i can just replace it with the boat its self???
Please help
Many thanks Radleigh

Radleigh,

It depends on what you're using for water...I use acrylic gel medium...great to work with.

In the How-To section of www.modelwarships.com , there's an article by me on how to accomplish this.

If you need further assistance, drop me an email.
