detailing f-14 diorama
Posted by armored saint on Sunday, May 1, 2011 6:52 PM

Need help-first of all I am currently building a diorama for my F-14 Tomcat and I've seen in previous issues, that some modelers use those "red flags" that hang from the tip of the missiles; where can I find them??? I've tried and tried and can't find them anywhere!? Also, what is the technical term for them!? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help in advance and keep up the fantastic work fellow modelers!

You would be looking for "Remove Before Flight" tags.

I believe most people make their own, but they are also available in PE by Eduard.

It is called "remove before flight" tags. It attach to a some kind of pin or cover.  Eduard color PE makes them in three scales. The old Super scale decals makes then in 1:72. I think Tally Ho makes them too.
