Benign Hetzer?....
Posted by BaBill212 on Monday, June 6, 2011 8:12 PM

This one is going back a bit in time a bit. I believe I finished this about 7 - 8 years ago. The good ole Italeri 35th Hetzer...  Tamiya's telephone pole and wall,,,  a Verlinden PE gate and some signage. The figures are a mix of Tamiya and, I believe, Italeri.         Lots of little scratchbuilt and stock details scattered about but mostly a very basic build.

All comments welcome,, and I hope you enjoy

Thanks

Nice work especially the base. Yes You did well with those Tamiya figures... its not easy to make them real good.

Second the good job on the base. I like the Hetzer too, but was wondering if perhaps you should have left the hatches opened. I'm thinking if the Germans abandoned it, they wouldn't be so cognizant about shutting the doors so to speak.

True, true,,,,  but I didn't want to get into interior detail (maybe a little lazy,,,,), so I buttoned it up and put the booby trap sign on it.

Thanks for the comments tiger............

Always appreciative........

I like the booby trap sign, immediately caught my eye.  Made me think, what kind of booby traps are in that thing, and by that point, the dio had done it's job.
