Many thanks for more kind comments since my previous reply. I agree with all of them, esp about the seam.

Another unusual subject.  My only dig is AI could have done a better job assembling the concrete and brick gate posts.  There is a really nasty seam on the one behind the cook with the ladle.  As far as the guy peeling spuds, I took his look as implying "WTF did I do to deserve this?!".

Gamera - Many thanks for your kind comments. I also think AI did a pretty good job on this except for the tires which look too new. As for the guy peeling potatoes, he may be thinking of his girl friend/wife/mistress and has no mood to socialize with others. So you'd better leave him alone. ;-)

I like it and bringing the potato peeler into the conversation would help. One thing sticks out to me though, shouldn't there be a more distinct colored mortar associated with the bricks? A wash with white oil paints would have done the job nicely.

MM- This has to be my favorite thing you've posted in some time. Really like the stove, figures, and ground work. I love the little detail of the stew spilled out over the top side of the mobile stove. Art Instructor did a great job on this one.

Only complaint if I may is that the guy peeling potatoes seems to be staring out into space. If he's not glued down maybe you could turn him around so it looks like he's in the same conversion as the cook and soldier?
