All three of the the Shermans you mentioned were used extensively in Europe.
The last vehicle that you mention, the Italeri M4, is really an M4A3. The kit itself says it can be made into an M4A2, but be prepared to spend a lot of hours doing that conversion.
So back to the subject at hand.
American forces tended (but not always) to group vehicles of the same "drive trains" together to ease the logistics of mechanical parts. So the M4A3 E2 and the Italeri M4A3 would have been used together. The M4A1 would actually be the odd man out by using this rule of thumb. But that doesn't mean it never happened that they'd end up in the same units.
