Attempting to build diorama, while reading devils adjutant

Hi all, Ive been reading The Devils Adjutant, in the book it talks about, KG Peiper and also Skorzoneys KG as well. What I want to know is, would it be possible seeing how Pz Brigade 150 was finally deployed, that Skorzoney's Ersatz Panthers and Regular Panthers were mixed together to form ad hoc units per say. I want to depict an Ersatz and Regular Panther G going down a road towards a town, while a King Tiger is on the side of the road with its commanders and infantry relaxing and talking things over. What do you guys think?
