I like them both. I really like the first one. I think the snow on the overcoats is a nice touch and suggests that it's even colder.

The first one very much reminds me of the great book "Crack of Doom" by Heinrich.
A must read for 1945 scholars.
Those are really good! I love the dusted snow on the uniforms of the first one, makes it look very real.
