                        Hi all.  Just bought verlindens pillbox for my first diorama and am wondering what the circles are scribed on the side wall? Thanks

                        A picture speaks a 1000 words, post on of the circles in question.

                        Could possibly be the location of ventilation louvers. Recall on Saving Private Ryan the German bunkers used round vents. Is there photo etch vents included that fit the circles?

                        I am by no means a expert in pillboxes, best check reference photographs or pictures of others version of this kit.

                        Thanks Jason I'll get a pic up. No photo etched parts I'm afraid. Bodges excellent pillbox diorama uses this piece, they seem to be painted a mid grey.

                        I have one of the pillboxes as well, I think the circles are mess ups in the mold

                        The circles that are on the mould are clearly shown on the first picture and have been painted and clearly stand put....must be for something!
