Anyone know how to replicate the textures of a carrier deck in 1/48 scale? Just wondering if there are any good articles out there or personal experience of some of the veteran modelers. I plan on building a diorama of a carrier deck on a platform with a glass case. One more thing- can you buy PE tie downs? Thanks in advance

What kind of carrier deck? A wood one should be fairly straightforward, I'd use coffee stirrers or similar material cut to scale then treated. As for a more modern deck, I haven't the faintest idea.
