OIF SpecFor Dio in progress
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 5:15 PM
This is a dio in progress of US SpecFor that operated in Iraq during OIF. The Humvee is the M988 Desert Patrol Hummer from Italeri that I converted to the ones used by the SF & the figures are from Dragon. I scratchbuilt some of the parts of the Humvee from styrene. First dio I've done in two years. Comments are welcome.

Alex, are those in 1/72? Those are fantastic. The details are just great. Good job on the scratchbuilding.

Two thumbs up even at this stage.

Wow, that is really nice. How much is there to go? What else are you adding to it? The base seems ...big. A little more landscaping or something would really add balance. Sorry man, I sound like the Art teacher I kept wanting to strangle. Some rocks or mortar strikes could be interesting.

Well lets see... there's the MRE cartons, ammo cases, water cans, anti-tank weapons, bed rolls, packs... to name a few. Some of my reference pictures doesn't show much with regards to landscape but I'll think about it.

Thanks for the input guys & gal.Wink [;)]
