Thanks for the positive comments.  I based this on the siege of Sevastopol where the naval Infantry were used to bolster the defence against Von Manstein's army.

Their fighting ability gained such a reputation with the Germans that they nick named them "Black death"

This isn't something you see everyday! I follow your posts and notice that you come up with themes that are refreshing and steer away from the norm. If you don't mind me asking did you base this on a certain year or location? I don't know much about the Soviet Naval Infantry in WW2 other than I know they were used at Sevastopol.

Very nice composition! I can praticaly hear Richard Rogers "Russian Theme" From Victory at Sea in my mind while looking at it. I really love the spent brass effect you made for the guys with the Dergatayev and the MP-40Bow Down
