                        A Ki45 Toryu (white 18) flown by Jun-i Nobuji Negishi of the 3rd Chutai 53rd Sentai has just tangled with a B-29 Super Fortress sent to bomb the homeland. Both aircraft have paid a heavy price. The .50 cals of the Fort as well as the 37mm auto cannons have found their marks. The villagers below watch as their defender struggles to keep his "Dragon Killer" aloft. They say a silent prayer in his honor,and hope he makes it home.
