Anyone know what was on second floor of WWII British airfield control towers?  Trying to build one.  Third floor probably had radio equipment,  and first  I imagine a flight maps, flight desk.  Second floor-no clue.

Do an image search for "Control Tower East Kirkby." It was a Bomber Command station during the war, and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre has it restored and set up as a museum. Lots of interesting period details in photos scattered across different sites. [Also, try "East Kirby" as well--not everybody gets the spelling correct.]
