Hi, this is just an idea I had for planning out a diorama to test the layout and action. I have the armor represented here in Tamiya 1/48 kits and the army men figures correspond to the Tamiya 1/48 Infantry GI Set.
So it really just an action piece set in a ruined Eurpoean town, with a vertical apect to it, the bridge over a river etc. Not sure if tanks would line up like this, so tactically it probably is way off.
I'll probably never make it, it's a bit too generic in a way but actually might look OTT and cool if fully fleshed out in a scale dio. Cheers.

oh, boy!
as I'd like, know how to use the computer at this level ... Instead I'm still looking for the key to the brackets!
For this reason I have to plan my dioramas with boxes of cookies and a lot of a lot of imagination ... it's a good mental exercise, but that effort!
Thanks, the program cost about the same as a used car, but thats for my job. There are free and easier to use programs out there which could be used to test a layout this way.
Great start on this! I actually also use CG models, but in reverse. I construct my scratchbuilds, and then use those as the basis for CG versions.

interesting way to combine your skills of models and computer. That splash will make an interesting device on the diorama.
if anyone wants to have a crack at this, i'd recommend Google's sketchup as a starting point.
