WIP: "The Leningrad Cowboy" - ICMs 1/48 Spitfire LF.IXE plus diorama

Hi folks...

Heres my first entry for FSM. Didnt know where to put it: Yes, its obviously A LF.IXE, but I planned a little diorama for it.

Some facts...

I just looove to build dioramas, no exception here. UM Models just brought a beautiful BZ-38 Russian tanker, and it fits perfect here. It features PE parts as well as vinyl tires. Figures are scratched/rebuilt Tamiya tank soldiers, some are ICM figures (eg the dog).

The ground plate consists of bird sand/PUR gleu, followed by airbrushing, static grass and some clear paint for some rain stains etc. Work is still in progress and yes, my camera doesnt shoot perfect pictures atm - Im working on it.

Regards...

Lucas.

Thanks Bob - of course... GB will end in spring, so theres a bit time left for details. Next steps will be putting on "Erdal Glänzer" - its aquite similar product like Pledge/Future and better available here in Germany. Then the decals, some scratching here and there - for example the headlights need some punchin ( a friend of mine has the tools for that, and he promised to help me out)... And so on.

A propos details - you can never have enough of them: Russian tank tools from Hauler, wooden coffe sticks (is that the right word?!) from McDonalds for the hood... custom made maps, etc. etc.
