The T34/85 was not introduced until early 1944, though. Those of course are /85's in the movie, so the diorama is accurate for the movie, if not the timeframe.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

"Where Iron Crosses Grow" Cross of Iron Diorama

Hi all, Im just posting a diorama in progress based off a scene in Sam Peckinpahs Cross of Iron. It is based off the climactic scene in which Sergeant Steiner Lays a teller mine on an unsuspecting T34/85. Then as the tank moves on it blows out the track. I thought this to be a little unbelievable until I read up on it and found out it was an actual practice. Anyways this is the diorama. Constructive criticism is welcome. Thx

Gotta fix that nameplate though :S
