Escape From Starlingrad
Posted by chameleon 2009 on Thursday, January 24, 2013 3:11 PM

Hi Guys let me introduce you to “Escape from Stalingrad”
its the Tamiya 1/35 scale 88mm with some alpine figures, and Resin figure Kit Flak Crew.
The story is that the gun has jammed and whilst the crew attempt to fix it the 2 Russian tank crew are trying to escape the through the ruins, but have been heard by the SS patrol.
Enjoy

MIke-

Inspiringly good work. The overall scene works for me, nice job with your composition. The building / destruction / rubble is very convincing. My only critique would be, for next time, to place more of it. When that building took the hit(s), every square centimeter of those pavement bricks woulda been covered.

The 88 looks awesome, and you really excel as a figure painter. Awesome job on the shading and highlights. I'd love to see more pics of these figs! Seriously, I took 1 look at the crew, and immediately tried to figure out where i could carve out a couple of hours of bench time today.

I look forward to your next project!
