MM these gals are wearing the latest fashions from the 40's, the car as you say is a 50's split window bug, and those California blue plates were first issued in 1970.

That's just too much information for my poor brain!

I did tell that it's 1950 Beetle. I did not tell that the figure is WWII era because of compatibility issue. I can't blame my builder for the California plates because I myself didn't know either.  Anyway, even 1970 is also post-war era, as long as we don't yet have a Third World War. ;-)

Apart from the compatibility issue now how about the build?

I can see a little bit of a neck seam on the lady in the white hat second to the left but otherwise really nice work. PJ did a great job on the faces and eyes (I hate painting eyes!) as well as the patterns on the dress of the young girl and the brunette in the red hat.

PS: Maybe you could take a small brush and some silver or gold paint and paint a necklace on the lady with the neck seam to cover it up?

Gamera, many thanks for your kind comments, compliments and suggestions! I really appreciate them!

About the seam, I have 1.35mm x 1.65mm x 1m chain. Is it too big to be a necklace for her?

Gee MM, I'm not sure without seeing it. You'll just have to wrap it around and see how it looks to you!
