This is really fantastic work! I wish you would have staged the B&W photo of this so that it would have actually had a real forested background. It would have been super realistic looking.

that turned out quite nice. as for the gun turret if it was over the left fender it would have been beyond the base and somewhat unprotected. turning it to the right may hjave been a "safety" consideration that became much more. always like it when that happens.

Thanks guys, it did well at the model show a few weeks back, and received a 1st in dioramas.

Also got a first in open top armor, 2nds in ships and armor cars.

A really excellent display here, a lot of work. Yes

The hessian tape camou is very interesting, something quite different.  One other item I spotted is the turret of the tank is turned towards the wreck, like it too was taking a look at it as it passed by.  Was this a conscious decision, or just the presentation overall looked better that way?   Whichever it may have been, it works quite well.

regards,

Jack

Oh wow, beautiful work! Love the camo on the FIrefly too, and excellent job making the AC look destroyed!

Thanks guys, the camo is a resin piece from Black Dog, then i added strips of foil to fill it out more.

Thats a great looking dio. Excellent build all round. What did you use for the camo on the Sherman.
