Typhoon 1b re-arm/re-fuel
Posted by Theuns on Friday, January 24, 2014 11:13 AM

Here is my attempt at a diorama of a Late WW2 RAF Typhoon 1b being re fueled and re armed for the next sorty out of The Netherlands.

If it is actually a diorama ornot I have no idea, but Ilike it.

Airfix 1/72 Typhoon 1b with Airfix Bowzer and crew.

My figure painting tecniques in such small scale needs allot of work still.

Comments welcome.

Nice, Theuns.  I have a photo of a similar scene with a Typhoon and have often thought of doing one like yours to recreate the photo.  One thought, on how your chocks are placed.  I have not seen them used on a tailwheel, but always in front and behind the main wheels.  Tail wheels can swivel, and like nose gears have little weight on them and are likely to jump a chock.

That's really nice! Did you open up the gun bay or is it supplied with the kit?
