Greg, thanks for your compliments.

I do have to improve  a lot in the figures, I think that is my weakest point. I do need a face to face, hands on training on doing them.

Definitely someone should make a DVD or youtube video on how to paint figures, I have seen a couple but they are vague.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Great job! From the looks of it you put a tamia german half track (with amazing wheathering) in, nice.

Thank you very much Conky!, you are correct, it is a Tamita half track. That kit cost me $18 USD. so i was experimenting with it with oil colors. All the painting (except the gray primer), was done with oils.

I liked how it turned out, so I put in the diorama to be displayed.

The reason I knew that is because I've built one. When I built mine, I only painted the tires, stearing wheel, tools, and the head lamps. Overall, the build was really easy.

P.S. During the project I cut my hand, so I named the half track Hans

Hi to alll!! Cool

Yes, I know, I being changing the name of my diorama but it really has changed from my initial vision.

So finally finished it! after 7 months!!!...wow!, this was complex. Geeked

I like it very much how it turned out....taking in consideration it is my first one !!! Big Smile

The only thing I do no like are the figure faces...I must had painted one of them at least 10 times and still could not achieve the result I wanted. I need some face to face classes.... Geeked

Anyway, I know I am not at the level of other hobbyists..but I tried I really tried... Crying

OK, so here it is. Sorry for so many pics but...is my first baby, and I think it has so many details its worth it.

See you around.Yes

Wow, I thought these pictures were the real 1/1 thing Yes

Great composition and details through out your build

To be totally honest, I looked at this thread many times thinking that the Toned BW taped to the wall was a real shot you used to compose the dio.

I didn't want to admit it, but since SprueOne broke the ice........  Smile

All the time you put into this definitely paid off.

Thank you very much, I do really appreciate your comments.

It took me a lot of time to complete but with words like yours it was worth doing it. A great learning experience also for using oils.
