A bit morbid, but educational

I have always loved dioramas because they are stories constructed in miniature. Like a lot of other modelers, I have always enjoyed their ability to teach viewers. Whether it is something like a museum diorama illustrating historic scenes or simply a piece of equipment shown in an appropriate setting, we learn from what we see in scale. Dioramas can be a wonderfully effective teaching tool.

However, what if the lesson being taught in miniature was something a bit darker? The link included here will take you to a site where the dioramas are a bit morbid. These scale scenes were constructed to teach crime scene investigators and the subject matters are a little grim. I thought I would share it because the forensic examiners need to focus on the fine details of the dioramas in order to piece the story together, just as we modelers are prone to do when presented with a miniature scene.

Have a peek and see if your eye for detail can help you to solve a crime - http://deathindiorama.com/
