Hi Everybody

Does anybody have a good idea for a material to use for making hedgerowa besides lichen?

Thanks!

Hello!

I guess I'd first take a look in the Woodland Scenics catalog - but it would help, if you stated the scale you had in mind! Good luck with your project and have a nice day

Hello!

Lets look at the lollowing link:

woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/.../GroundCover

I'd say a mixture of Underbrush, Clump Foliage, Bushes and Foliage Clusters with small addition of Foliage and Poly Fiber should cut it. It might also be worthwhile to form the main outline of a hedge with some material like styrofoam, then paint it dark green and do the surface with the materials mentioned above.

First of all, get some nice photo material of the thing you want to model - that helps the most.

Good luck and have a nice day

Also consider rubberized horsehair. It is supposed to be good for things like bramble bushes and I think would work in a hedgerow as well. I have not used mine yet, but I am hoping to try some out on my current build.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
