To Dull Cote or Not?
Posted by Leddy on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 9:05 AM

My diorama is finished? Do all dioramas require a dull cote before they are considered finished. How do you know if you need a dull cote?

Thanks,

Leddy

My question would be, is it glossy?  Most things in nature have no shine or gloss to them.  If your dio is glossy, it probably needs a dullcoat.  Take a look at things outside and see what is glossy and what is dull.  Try to replicate what you see.

Ditto HeavyArty! Especially uniforms for me. Most every dio I do gets a good dullcoat
