Thanks to everyoneBow [bow]Bow [bow]Bow [bow]

mark956,

I am building a 1/32 diiorama of a Regulus One launch site. The hoses and cables will represent a fuel line from a fuel bowser and various wires and cables connected to the missile from a launch van. There will also be a generator truck that supplies power to a launch van. I will include figures that wear headphones so I need wiring for them. And BTW this my first attempt at a dioramaBlindfold [X-)]

Once again, thanks to allBig Smile [:D]

I use solder and copper wire. My other (past) hobby included a lot of tinkering with electrical motors, so I was left with a lot of spare wire.
Craft, home improvement, and electrical stores will no doubt have what you're looking for

Try going into your local crafts store & look in the jewelry section, some of them might carry colored wires ranging in size from ga. 22-26.

Hi Richard.

I use fuse wire and solder almost exclusively for that type of thing. I am an Electrician so I have a wide variety of sizes for both. You would probably be able to find the sizes you need.

They are both very pliable, so they can replicate all sorts of things, and they take paint well.

Good Luck,

Matt

I am in the process of building a diorama that uses electrical wiring and cabling along with fuel hoses. The scale is 1/32 and I am attempting to find material that will replicate what I needConfused [%-)]

The actual sizes of the cables are 3 inch, 2 inch, 1 1/2 inches, 1/2 inch and 3/8 inches, What materials should I consider using that would be close to scaleQuestion [?]

I never realized how small these items will be in diameterBanged Head [banghead]
