Ishan,
Depends on how far underwater you want it to be. If you want to show a plane sinking, you could anchor it to your surface water by one part of the plane such as the tail or a wing tip. This way, you could show it in any attitude (even upside down) and not have to worry about showing the support.

I have this idea for an underwater diorama but I wanted to know what to use to hold the plane and other parts to look like its floating underwater, as though it just crashed in to the water. any ideas will be greatful.
