Battle of Poznan
Posted by MiguelBR on Friday, June 9, 2017 2:56 AM

Hi to all,

After several moths of hard work I finished my last diorama based on Battle of Poznan (Poland).

I made a video to show the diorama. I have used Tamiya & Zvezda figures and vehicles. The building and furniture is from MiniArt.

I hope to enjoy

Excellent work, Miguel!  And the video is really cool!

Great Diorama, Miquel! I admire anybody who does such projects. I wish I had the skills to attempt one.(And the space) Can not wait to see more!

Welcome to the forum, and I enjoyed seeing your work! I never thought to make a video of my builds, it's hard enough taking photos!

Well, what do you know - Poznan is my home town!

The dio looks really nice, congratulations! What I'm missing, though is the feel of winnter - the fighting took place in February-March 1945, and it can be mighty cold or rainy at this time of year in Poznan.

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day!

Thanks Pawel for your words. You are right, the liberation of the city was in winter January-February but I must take photos with a lot of ligth, to achieve big resolution in photos. I'm using my phone to take photos.

This is previously dio where is raining.

Hello Miguel!

I took a close look at the video - it's very nice, but I just can't get over that "summer" look of everything. In February in Poland nobody would ride a motorcycle with his sleeves rolled up. And the vegetation along the banks of the stream would be mostly brown and yellow - maybe you could still change that. We're looking for something like that:

Winter stream

If you are living in a country where it's warm most of the time, it might be hard to imagine how lousy the weather can be even on a good day!

But that's just one minor thing - congratulations on a nice dio and thanks for sharing, have a nice day
