This is just a small dio I made recently depicting US soldiers stalking a German patrol on maneuvres.
Not much to say....Homemade trees,Big ass rock and some groundwork with the figures.....

I can see the photos just fine.
Nice work on the figures and groundwork. And you don't need a complex story, it works quite well.

Oh ya now I can see the photo's too. Cool scene. Those tree's are great. That is not easy to do. Good job.

Actually....it wasnt THAT hard......was my first try.
The trees are made of twisted wire and covered in air dry clay which I roughed up a little before it dried.
The leaves are from a type of plastic spongy craft material that was clumped.I added small natural dried leaves from a thorn tree in my back yard and loose particles of coloured sawdust to give the foliage a more natural look.All the foliage I coloured beforehand by mixing it with the differant shades of green paint.The trees was then painted and shaded with sponge dabbing of paint in differant colours.To finish it off a nice oil wash with burnt umber to pop out a few details.
