Hey guys. I need to know what are the best books or what web site are the best. I've put together a few diaroma and they're lacking in some detail. If I'm putting money and time in it I do want it to look good. I know practice, time, and  technique are the main keys but I need a little help in getting there. Tks

The late Shep Paine's book is still a great place to start.

Not sure if it's still in print, but copies shouldn't be hard to find.

The Paine book is a must have. I've come to the conclusion the majority of excellent diorama books come from europe. Check Michigan toy soldier for some examples. Pricey but darn good information. Other excellent sources are model roading and fantasy role playing forums.

Look for back issues of a magazine called Modellers Resource. It's no longer published but has pretty detailed articles.
