Here's one for you ;
We did a lake at the Museum about four or five years ago. It came out so good we even had H.O scale folks swinging on rope swings etc. A little dock and canoe were included. The lake came out as smooth as glass.
Here it is five or so years later. Swinging swimmers are gone as is the canoe. No problem. BUT, the surface of the lake has these dimples in it now that are almost a Sixteenth of an inch deep! Some large in Diameter and some NOT.
They are in roughly three rows. We were careful when pouring the lake to use thin tinted coats and a painted bottom. Question is, how do we fix the dimples? Can we fix the dimples? or should we even try and just go ahead and fill the lake in? HELP !!!
The puzzle for me is, upon examination closely there's no sign of any kind of Bubbling under the surface either!
