That's pretty cool. How big is it? How long did it take?

Griffin25, it's 3'6" x 4'6". The base took about a year of fits & starts. Initially I wanted to practice different methods, but it took off w/a mind of its' own. Now I use it to display small units built. The models on it here took several years. They are WIP in these photos. The Engineer units were completed last year. They no longer fit this base. PaulE

That's really neat! I don't see many dios in such a small scale with so many vehicles. Yes

Maybe when I retire I can try something like that but bigger with all the 1/35th stuff I've stockpiled...

Very Impressive!  I'm glad to see someone so motivated to model HO scale.  Do you also build model railroad or just military?

Thanks Ziggy, yes, as a matter of fact I have a build in progress right now. I had hoped to run a train by Christmas but I have an ellusive short cicuit problem in the industrial module in the left foreground. About a 20' run in this pic.

connectors for ind. module.

Control module.

Some neat details:hot box detector, dangle sensors, relay boxes. T.O. motors & battery boxes.
