Just keeping trying and eventually you’ll get the hang of it.

Are you kidding me?  This is amazing!  You have a true gift and are a credit to the hobby.

Thank you for your kind words. They are very uplifting. Figure painting is a genre in its own. It takestime and especially, patience. The figure masters are just that - Master of the arts.

Beautiful work! As a former infantryman, I can feel this one! Do you have any close-ups of the figures? I’m still very amateurish with my figure painting... Thanks! -Rudy

Thanks Rudy. I too am a newbie to figure painting. It took some time for me to get it to where it is today. I am still practicing to improve myself. I will see if I can take some close up of the figures.

Very nice diorama. It's intricate and yet simple and the intensity of battle is evident. BTW your Coca-Cola sign is classic. Well done sir.

Thank you kindly. :)

Gamera

Oh wow, loved your other diorama but I think I like this one even more! I really like how you've got everything smooshed in there- it really does give the feel of a narrow choke-point used to hold off a foe.

And as usual I love the looks of the vehicles and the overall positioning of the debris. They look the part of burnt-out wrecks and a jumble of stuff piled up to make a blockade.

Thanks alot. Appreciate your overview. Nice you liked it.

Still have to adjust a couple of things, but I feel my figure painting is coming to a point, that I I am becoming satisfied with the results so far. Just have to keep at it. I think, I may still need to do another wash. The green is not exactly the green for this type of camo but that is what I had on hand. I am going to get the right color for this camo pattern, soon. Unfortunately my photography skills still need lots of improvement. Oh well. If you have noticed, I used the vehicles from my previous diorama in this vignette. The previous diorama does not exist any more. Thanks for looking.
