Battle droids at Pringles lake

Made from a pringle's can bottom as a test for some water effects. Droids are from fantasy flight games.

Like this one.  What about one where they are taking a lunch break.

Hi;

     Would that be the one where they are savoring Black Beauty Fine Oil in the 20 oz.cans?

Nice vignette!

What did you use for the water, and how did you like the product?  Did it work the way you expected?

Some clear resin from Union Jack Arts. It worked wonderfully and behaved just how I expected. Mixed easily and leveled with little air bubbles to deal with.

I believe woodland scenics do a good wave effect but I've not tried it. Mod podge it's a type of PVA like glue which is very good for ripples and water texture. Usually it's applied as a thin coat then blown with an airbrush or straw. On youtube there's a guy called Luke Towas who does some good water effects and you can probably find some other recommendations among his stuff.
