Pigment for Resin?
Posted by Teenage Modeler on Saturday, May 1, 2021 12:44 PM

Is there a type of pigment to color epoxy resin?

Can I use regular acrylic paint (the one from michael's) to color it, or is there a specific type of pigment for it?

I have red and blue liquid pigment for epoxy resin that I bought on Amazon a few years ago.  If you do a search on Amazon it returns all kinds of results, some of which might give you ideas for what to look for at Michaels if you want to buy it locally.  The liquid I have is great for making nav light lenses on airplanes.

"Ben's Worx" on Youtube uses food coloring with no issues.
