Thanks O! I like that. One of those will do just fine.

I'm thinking I try and make chocks from balsa wood. Never tried it, but I'll see how it goes

Hey Pete,

I know there are a few 1/48 options from Tamiya. If you look at the links below, it should give you an idea of what's out there. Each link also offers a few additional 1/48 options towards the bottom of each page.

Equipment

Jeep(s)

2.5 ton truck

Fuel truck

Good luck!

Korean War Corsair

I'm building the Hobby Boss F4U-4 which I'm going to do as a Marine land based Corsair in Korea. I've ordered a nice psp base from Coastal Kits as well as some scale 55 gallon drums to add to it. This is my first effort trying a realistic display and I'd like to add a vehicle or two as well. I cannot find anything in 48 scale like a Jeep or maybe a truck. Do any of you know if something like that exists? I can't find any figures either, but that's not as important. I see 1/35 Jeeps, but those aren't going to work obviously.

Also, wheel chocks. None exist that I can locate that would be accurate for that era, so I was going to try and make my own. Anybody done that kind of thing?

Thanks for any ideas or input.

Pete
