Pictures are not working for me but I can imagine what you are looking for.

I have never done it but have seen things like baby wipes, dryer sheets, saftey glass wipes, etc. soaked in watered down white glue that make very effective canvas.I would just make up a wire frame and use the soaked fabric for the panels. Just make sure it is all pulled into place while it dries.

I have used tissue paper (the gift wrapping kind, not Kleenex) to make a canvas WW I aircraft shelter.  I used olive drab acrylic paint mixed wtih alcohol and white glue.  When the tissue dried, it tightened up a bit.  I think the white glue made for a nice, non-porous semi-gloss finish which took weathering well.

Sort of like the tissue used in the  balsa planes? I can see that being very effective.

Yes, your pictures are not working, But Real G's idea is one of the best ways to go. You can find the gift wrapping tissue at Dollar Tree or other places where they sell gift wrapping stuff. Good luck.

Exactly!  So if you want any wrinkles, you have to work them in before the glue/paint dries.
