Ataching ground work.

I pretty much use white glue for all of that sort of thing. The actual technique for doing so depends on the type of ground covering you're going to be using. In general I paint on a mixture of white glue and water onto the area to be covered, then sprinkle on the ground coving being used. After letting the glue dry you can either shake off the excess, or leave it in place, depending on how dense you want to the covering to be.

i would press it into your celluclay,plaster, what ever you use and then spray with white glue

White glue (Elmer's) works for me. For heavy rubble apply sufficient amount of unthinned whit glue on the surface of the base. For lighter things such as grass, turf or fine sand use a slightly thinned white glue either applied with a brush or spray.

Thanks guys for the tips, but can you tell me how to apply leaves in different places. Do I have to glue each one. Remember that I don't want anything to fly off my dio if someone blows a little. Please help out. Thanks.

Ive been experimenting myself with what adhesive works best. I have found two good sources and a great website for realistic trees and ground cover. Try Woodland Scenics spray on scenic cement or Scenic express's matte medium. Scenic Expresse's website is www.scenicexpress.com ... great site

I use glue in spray ,and after everything attach to it.
Works fine and easy.

Large stones I embed in the base plaster, celuclay, etc. smaller stones, branches are glued down with whithe glue (Elmer's etc.) then for grass and leaves i thin white glue with water, brush it on and sprinkle the groundwork on. Spraying the glue/water mix has the advantage of allowing layers witout brushing of the previous layer (leaves over grass).
