Thanks Mike!

I build mostly aircraft and I am ignorant when it comes to armor and ground vehicles, but building the 1/72 scale Opel Blitz and the 1/48 Kubelwagon has so far been a lot of fun I might start building some armor once in a while. So having more information on this subject is becoming more important to me. Weeks ago I ordered the book by Schiffer about the Opel Blitz in WWII but have no idea when I might get it.

that should get you started. Other than than I think they were painted using the RAL specs for the time period.

Kubelwagon colors

I am building the Tamiya 1/48 scale Kubelwagon for my photobase project, the instructions give khaki as the color of the seats, but there are variations in the khaki color ranging from a green color to a earth brown color.
What Model Master enamel color would come close to the actual color of the Kubelwagons seats?
Are there any good websites that have good wartime photos of the Kubelwagon and Opel Blitz trucks?
I ordered the Schiffer book on the Opel Blitz trucks weeks ago and have no idea when it will arrive, if ever. My Kubelwagon and Blitz are rearly ready for paint and I don't trust any kits painting instructions, I always like to see what the real machines looked like in wartime conditions. Many times a kits painting instructions don't match the photos of the real thing.
