Late War Luftwaffe Airfield pics
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, June 6, 2004 6:45 PM
This is the first set of new pics that I have ''aged'' using my new photo editing software, the old software did not have any adjustments for adding noise, it was either full on or off. After I get used to the new software I will start adding small imperfections to the new batch of photos.
Let me know if you think the noise (grainy effect) is overdone on some of the pics.

The top one on the second set looks great. The bottom one on the second set doesn't look right. The black and white pic would look good with the amount of grain you gave to the second set of pics. Great lookin models and airfield!

Thanks for the input scubaboy99,

That photo with the Ar 96 trainer in front is a little too pale, this is some of the things I need to find out, what works and what don't.

Thanks Pedro!

These pictures are important lessons in model photography, the most valuable lesson I have learned so far is most of my photos were taken with poor lighting, I need to wait for better conditions before taking anymore pictures. No photo editing software can make up for not enough light.
Also my backdrop is not right, the ''sky'' is too dark near the horizon and the ground is also too dark it does not quite match the base very well. I will airbrush a new backdrop after the I finish the hanger.

Thank you thundergod!

Next pictures will be taken under better lighting conditions, these are too dark.

Thanks boybuddho!

I hope conditions (the weather) improve enough to try some more pictures taken with more light. Right now it is cool and damp in my part of the country.
